This lesson uses the artwork of Alphonso Dunn as inspiration, and students can complete the worksheet as you wish, whether you are teaching tone, mark-making, scale and proportions or (in this case) fineliner and water. The Powerpoint is editable and can be changed appropriately. It is most suitable for Key Stage 3, however could also be used for Key Stage 4. A simple yet effective lesson for teaching student about the basics of Colour Theory, focusing and just Primary, Secondary, Warm and Cool Colours. Students have the oppitunity to create a colour wheel showing the Primary and Secondary colours, as well as what warm and cool colours are. This lesson can be completed in watercolour, coloured pencils, or any other materials you would like. This resource has been designed for Key Stage 3 students.
